The O-Zell Company was first established in 1911 to create a line of all-natural carbonated beverages. Elias Disney, Walt's father, was a major investor in the venture. In 2014, The O-Zell Soda Company has been relaunched with all proceeds going to restore and preserve Walt Disney's Birthplace home in Chicago, IL!

O-Zell Recipes

Friends, you have not had a root beer float until you've had
an O-Zell Blue Ribbon Root Beer float!

And that is but one of many recipes prepared by our brigade of venerated mixologists, each formula fastidiously crafted to titillate your taste buds. 
 

 

Elias' Blue Ribbon Root Beer Float

Ingredients:

  • Super premium all-natural vanilla ice cream
  • 12oz bottle of O-Zell Blue Ribbon Root Beer
  • Whipped cream
  • Chocolate Powder
  • 1 bing cherry
  • 1 pirouline cookie

Begin by chilling one large soda glass in your freezer for about 10 minutes. Then place one scoop of super premium all-natural vanilla ice cream into the bottom of the cooled glass. Slowly and carefully, pour a bottle of ice-cold O-Zell Blue Ribbon Root Beer over the ice cream to see that the ensuing foam does not run over the top of the glass.

Once the root beer has settled, add a dollop of whipped cream to the top. Then gently dust the whipped cream with the chocolate powder. 

Finish by dropping your bing cherry and pirouline cookie into the top of the whipped cream. Serve with spoon and straw.


Elias's "Mosstrooper" Mocktail

Ingredients:

  • 12oz bottle of O-Zell Blue Ribbon Root Beer
  • Splash of lemonade
  • Ice

Begin by filling the glass half-full of ice. Add a splash of lemonade to the glass, and then fill the 

rest with chilled O-Zell Blue Ribbon Root Beer. Stir with a straw and serve.
